A few years ago I could not decide with my future profession. But today I exactly know what i want to be a PR specialist. Advertising - this universal sphere in which people who have different skills and abilities . I like to help people to choose goods and services that satisfy their needs.
For four years I learned to make video, take pictures, to develop advertising projects and come up with an advertising slogans and texts. me and my friends used to make no profit tv and internet commercial. This process takes a lot of time and effort, but we really like it. i love those movies and television shows where the characters work in advertising and they seem to be having so much fun? Bosom Buddies, Thirty-Something, Friends, Nothing in Common, Bounce - these are just some of the examples of shows or movies whose characters have a career in advertising.
it's great fun to create an ad campaign and it's rewarding to be a part of the team. But i know that from one side its sounds like perfect work, but from other side there are days you will work extremely long hours, even weekends, and there are days your project may do a 180 and everything you previously worked on is now trashed. Sometimes the best days in advertising are the days when that difficult project finally leaves your hands for the last time.
in all i think that i'll be a good professional , because every stress give me new goals.
Anyone have idols most often it is famous singers, artists, but for me is it greatest man of advertising David Ogilvy. David Mackenzie Ogilvy was born in West Horsley, England, on June 23, 1911. He was educated at Oxford (although he didn't graduate). After Oxford, Ogilvy went to Paris, where he worked in the kitchen of the Hotel Majestic. He learned discipline, management - and when to move on: "If I stayed at the Majestic I would have faced years of slave wages, fiendish pressure, and perpetual exhaustion." He returned to England to sell cooking stoves, door-to-door.In 1938, Ogilvy emigrated to the United States. During World War II, Ogilvy worked with the Intelligence Service at the British Embassy in Washington. In 1948, he founded the New York-based ad agency Hewitt, Ogilvy, Benson & Mather (which eventually became Ogilvy & Mather Worldwide), with the financial backing of London agency Mather & Crowther. He had never written an advertisement in his life.In his agency's first twenty years, Ogilvy won assignments from Lever Brothers, General Foods and American Express. Shell gave him their entire account in North America. Sears hired him for their first national advertising campaign. Ogilvy remains one of the most famous names in advertising and one of the handful of thinkers (Raymond Rubicam, Leo Burnett, William Bernbach, Ted Bates) who shaped the business.
Millions people all over the world spend their holidays travelling. They travel to see other countries and continents, modern cities and the ruins of ancient towns, they travel to enjoy picturesque places or just for a change of scene. It's always interesting to discover new things and different ways of life, to meet different people, to try different food, to listen to different music. and if i have a chance right now i want go to Italy. Italy have many interest place but in my first trip i want visit Tuscany. Tuscany is located in central Italy and stretches from the Apennines to the Tyrrhenian Sea.
Its landscape, artistic heritage and stand-out cities - first among them Florence - make Tuscany an unquestioned protagonist of international tourism. Florence, one of the most beautiful cities in Europe. Every year, Florence, unanimously recognized as the cradle of the Renaissance, attracts crowds of Italian and foreign tourists to admire the marvelous churches, sumptuous buildings, and museums that make it so unique. Many are the places that preserve the memory and evidence of the arts and people born in this area. In the Montalbano Hills, amidst the vineyards and olive groves stands Vinci, the birthplace of Leonardo. Today, it is also home to the Leonardo Museum, housed in an old castle and featuring an abundant display of tools and models made according to the great genius’s projects and designs.
In Incisa Valdarno, it is possible to visit Petrarch’s House, the place where the poet spent his childhood, while Vicchio is the site of Giotto’s House. The house where the artist was born has been transformed into a museum, bountiful in documentation. Characteristic towns and villages are scattered throughout the Province, along with numerous examples of religious art and castles, making this land a treasure trove just waiting to be explored.
The poisoning of the world's land, air, and water is the fastest-spreading disease of civilisation. It probably produces fewer headlines than wars, earthquakes and floods, but it is potentially one of history's greatest dangers to human life on earth. If present trends continue for the next several decades, our planet will become uninhabitable.
Overpopulation, pollution and energy consumption have created such planet-wide problems as massive deforestation, ozone depletion, acid rains and the global warming that is believed to be coused by the greenhouse effect.
The seas are in danger. They are filled with poison: industrial and nuclear waste, chemical fertilisers and pesticides. The Mediterranean is already nearly dead; the North Sea is following. The Aral Sea is on the brink of extinction. If nothing is done about it, one day nothing will be able to live in the seas.
Air pollution is a very serious problem. In Cairo just breathing the air is life threatening- equivalent to smoking two packs of cigarettes a day. The same holds true for Mexico City and 600 cities of the former Soviet Union.
Industrial enterprises emit tons of harmful substunces. These emissions have disastrous consequences for our planet. They are the main reason for the greenhouse effect and acid rains. An even greater environmental threat are nuclear power stations. We all know how tragic the consequences of the Chernobyl disaster are.
People are beginning to realise that environmental problems are not somebody else's. They join and support various international organosation and green parties. If governments wake up to what is happening- perhaps we'll be able to avoid the disaster that threatens the natural world and all of us with it.
We can find pets in most families, sometimes they are considered as family members. The most common pets are: dogs, cats, mice, turtles, budgerigars and hamsters. People love them and keep them for their love and company. and i love pets too. at home i have cat and dog. In my opinion, dog and cat make perfect house pets. They always show their happiness. They are playful and extremely loyal to their owners. Furthermore trained dogs are useful to their owners too. They are easy to train as watchdogs to guard your house, making you feel safe and secure. But for many people finding the right pet is crucial. Pets that need little supervision, such as fish and spiders, may be more appropriate for children and families who do not have a lot of free time. Dogs may be right for active children and families. Small rodents, such as mice, may be good for families in small homes or apartments. but sometimes people make mistake and take wold animals like home pets. For example Crocodiles are ambush hunters, who may be survive long periods without food. The large species of crocodiles are very dangerous to humans and other animals or other wild animal tiger is one of the most dangerous and powerful animals in the world. Lives in the Eastern and Southern of Asia. In all i think that people shouldnt take wild animals at home its too dangerous.
Lately computers have filled our life. Now they are almost in each family. We have got used to them and we do not imagine our leisure without this miracle-machine.
With the help of computers the Internet has entered into our life. It became an integral part of a life of each person. Now people cannot live a day without checking of mail and visiting their favourite sites. The Internet is not only the assistant in daily work, it is also the other world in which there are mail boxes, libraries, photo galleries, games, shops. By means of the Internet people can travel to different cities, visit tourist places, communicate with people.
Recently many people ask a question: " Is the Internet harmful or useful? ". I think, that on this question there is no certain answer. In fact on the one hand the Internet is a very good and useful thing. And on the other hand it has many negative functions: dependence, the waste of time, money, health.
Certainly, the Internet can be the excellent assistant in information search. But if we spend a lot of time on the Internet we`ll have some problems. We lose a touch with the real world, get in a full dependence on a computer. I think, that it is important to learn to distinguish a side between a real life and a life on the Internet. For that it is necessary to understand, what is really important on the Internet and what is not . And then the Internet will be not the terrible enemy, but the indispensable assistant.
It’s very important to choose the right food nowadays. Healthy and balanced diet is useful for every person. We depend on food as well as the cars depend on gas, for example. It’s our natural fuel, which gives our body physical strength and health. When the body is healthy, the mind will also be healthy. Different types of food contain different nutrients for our body. Some supply us with carbohydrates, some with proteins or fats, some with vitamins and minerals, etc. Many people think that fat is bad for people and they try to cut down on it. There is even a special line of products, called low-fat. The problem is that we do need some kinds of fat, but the saturated fats from animal products, like red meat, butter and cheese, can be really bad for health. Friendly fats can be found in avocados, nuts and seeds, olives and tuna fish, and in some other products. Some people cut down on too much sugar and salt, which is also a good idea. One of the healthiest types of food is fruit and vegetables. Such organic products can be only useful if they don’t contain any chemicals and additives, which has become a common phenomenon in modern supermarkets. More and more people tend to grow fruit and vegetables in their own gardens, instead of buying them. Another problem is modified food. It’s much cheaper than ordinary food, which is why people often buy it. From the other hand, modified food can lead to dangerous diseases. The food people eat depends a lot on their culture, religion, beliefs, health and other factors. However, some rules are common for everyone. They are: less fat, sugar and salt; and more water, vitamins, fresh fruit and vegetables.
No doubt, everyone dreams of having a true and faithful friend but not all of us are lucky enough to find one. Frankly speaking, I’m rather sociable, that’s why I have many friends. As for me I’m happy with my friends. Firstly, I don’t have “fair weather” friends. Secondly, all my friends are very pleasant people, and I’m never bored with them. My best friend is ….(вставь имя друга). We study in the same class and though she doesn’t live next door we manage to spend much time together. In appearance she is very attractive. She has an oval face, a straight nose, thick dark hair, big brown eyes and a pleasant smile. So people and, of course I, find her smart. Besides, … is known for her warm and friendly character. She is usually open-minded and interested in other people. More than that, she is considerate, supportive and responsible. I can always turn to her whenever I’m in trouble, and she never fails to help. I’d like to point out, that … is rather brainy, and that’s why she is excellent at school. In general … is loyal, trustworthy, tactful and great at keeping secrets. For me it is very important that my best friend is an honest girl. I can fully rely on her and trust her everything. To tell the truth, we have never let each other down. In conclusion I’d like to add, that my friend is an interesting person. She is well-read. Her favourite foreign author is Julian Rowling and her creation Harry Potter. Besides, she is keen on modern music and enthusiastic with sport. To sum up, “A good friend is like the sun in winter”, it’s about …. I’m the happiest girl in the world, because I have such a wonderful friend.
From the very start I should say that it is not an easy thing to speak about myself as it is hard to have a look at yourself from aside. I am sociable, so I have got a lot of friends among my classmates. i'm honesty, kindness, sense of justice and intelligence. I'm not rude or aggressive. In my opinion I'm a kind-hearted and jolly person. I think I'm responsive and reliable that's why my friends and relatives can always rely on me. I never refuse if people whom I love need support or a piece of advice. I try to be fair and just in attitude to the others. I'm rather calm person, but sometimesI1 can lose my temper and become either angry or sad. I'm modest and sometimes shy, but do not advice someone tricking or kidding me. I like staying alone and sometimes I retire into my shell, but at the same time I like a noisy company of my friends. I like to laugh and joke with them and I never let my friends down.Very soon I'll pass my final exams at school and after a farewell party at the end of June I'll say goodbye to my teachers who are very well-educated people with broad outlook and deep knowledge of the subjects. i love my future profession. and i'll looking for good place and will have interview. How should i prepare for a job interview?
It is always good to do research into the company you are interviewing for. Know what the employers are searching for when it comes to candidates. in all i think i'll be a good worker.
Books are one of the greatest wonders in the world. They follow us during all our life. When you read a book you enrich your mind with knowledge. This knowledge will help you in different subjects. People who read many books are very clever. If you read many books you will get a lot of information on many subjects. It is difficult for me to choose only one favorite writer or a book, however, i decided that i like more "The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes" by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.
I first discovered these stories when I was about twelve and I've loved them ever since. They're brilliantly written, full of bizarre crimes and they've got a terrific Victorian atmosphere.
When you read them you really feel like you've been carried back to nineteenth-century London.
All the twentieth century detectives like Miss Marple and Inspector Morse seem really boring compared to Sherlock Holmes.
That's where Conan Doyle, really makes you believe that Holmes is unique — a genius with amazing mental powers.
Normally I only read detective stories once. I mean, why read them again when you know what happens in the end?
With the Sherlock Holmes stories, though, its different.
Each time I re-read them I discover more and more to enjoy.
Еveryone chooses for himself the best place for rest. Place where he can rest in peace and quiet. what about me the best place to relax it is the mountains. Their greatness and calm royalty gives a sense of stability and feelings that your world dont have a problems. Last summer I had my first visit in the camp Damkhurts. This marvelous place is situated almost on the border with Georgia in the valley between the mountains. The way is difficult because there are no roads. But when you arrive , you are realize that it was worth the long hours of jolting in car. Employees of the camp meet and instruct you. It is wild area and we must be careful, because in the forest near the camp you can meet wild animals , such as the wolf or bear. After giving instructions, and registration i can go to my house. The first three days in the highlands is acclimatization. This time I'm in Nirvana, absolutely i do not worry , just sleep, eat, breathe fresh air, sunbathing and make hiking. On the fourth day for anyone offer to go in 3 days hiking trip, I don't like long hikes and usually remain in the camp and enjoy the peace and quiet. In the camp is very well-organized cultural program , you are always invited to play in different games or participate in competitions. At the evening camp has discos. Also in Damkhurts has a very good kitchen, no one will be hungry. In the end I want to summarize, the mountains, the best place for relaxation and health improvement.
The film that left a deep and lasting impression on me is a great work of James Cameron direction – “Titanic”. This is feature colored film of more than 3 hours long. This film was released by Columbia Pictures associated with 20th Century Fox. For Russian audience it was doubled by several TV companies and channels. The director of “Titanic” is well-known Canadian James Cameron famous for his huge budget movie hits. “Titanic” deals with a tremendous disaster which happened on April, 14 1912 in the Atlantic Ocean when more than 15 hundred people died in freezing water after the enormously huge and luxurious passenger liner “Titanic” had sunk.On this background the love of two young people strongly separated by position they took in society was growing. This story is not quite typical, more likely it’s a story of prohibited feelings among the tragic events. The climax of the story is simultaneously the moment when Rose (American aristocrat betrothed to a rich and hopeful suitor) and Jack (free-spirited poor artist who won his 3rd class passage in a card game) despite of great difference between them understood that their love was true and the only thing really worth living. In the same time the liner collided with an iceberg and began to sink. The plot reveals the power of love and destructive human vanity. The film is brilliant in both – serious content and technically perfect work.Due to everything said before I may conclude that “Titanic” makes us feel and think, helps us to release the best human features. The film allows us vividly imagine the drama that fills our world and, probably, let us wish well to each other.
Every person has in life the day that will be remembered for a lifetime. Day which is radically different from the monotony of everyday life. Most likely you spent this day with friends and family who created this atmosphere of celebration. In my life already happened several such days and the last one took place recently and i want tell you about it. This day was couple days ago. It was the birthday of one of my closest friends. she was preparing to them for a few weeks, everything was done in Chicago style, invitations, costumes, decorations and even music. It was immediately clear that this event will be one of the best parties of the year. And then came day of her birth, I and my friends prepared for this event and went to congratulate the birthday girl. On the threshold of a private club, which she rented for party,us met real girls of the 30th years of the last century. And it all started, crackers, congratulations, flowers, gifts, bright light of projectors. Beautiful atmosphere and a sense of belonging to theatre view where everyone has their own role. I think that this day will remain in my memory for a long time.
In time of the Soviet Union resorts of the Caucasian Mineral Waters have been very popular and accessible to everyone. People came to enjoy the fresh air and beautiful nature. But now our resorts have become very expensive and service-level not competitive with overseas resorts. In general resorts of the North Caucasus, it is ski resorts , but people are afraid to go there because of the bad political climate. Although the nature of this mountain region is simply divine and virgin. In my opinion there will not develop international resort due the local mentality, however the fact that the Caucasian peoples are very hospitable.
Last time I was in the theater, and want to talk about it. in my opinion the theatre has something mystical. the theatre has a long history and tradition that makes the magic atmosphere.
Curtain, usually separates the stage from the auditorium. As a rule, the curtain fell with lowered between scenes or acts of a play. The most expensive seats in the stalls, boxes, and dress-circles. The place on the balcony, Pete and the upper circle is relatively cheaper. I light illuminates the scene. When the curtain came down, workers at the scene, can't change the situation and to prepare the ground for the next show.
The play lives a long life, he makes her appearance on the stage in front of spectators. It is an art, and to create it encourages the inspiration, talent and the artistic skill. Playwright comes up with the idea, and after several months of hard work, his idea is developing in the game scenario. And finally, when everything is ready, and rehearsal goes off without a hitch, a General rehearsal is called. After some time the curtain rises, the performance of the faces of the spectators on the first night.
I love going to theatre with friends or relatives, just to relax. But I will never forget my last visit to Ivan Franko Ukrainian Drama Theater. Mom bought two tickets in advance cashier for the performance “Eneiyda”. This was the stage version, based on I. Kotlyarevsky novel.
There were bright actors and Actresses in the cast, I must admit. The leading actress was incredibly moving and top favorite. I thought she was her best and play kept the audience in suspense from beginning to end. The company gave a truly wonderful play - moving, captivating, causing laughter and tears in turn. It was also a great educational value. During this interval, everyone was talking about a great game of actors.
The final scene was interesting enough, at the last moment was the thrilling and unforgettable. Actors have received huge acclamation from a Packed audience. There was no doubt, he was warmly received by the audience, many of the pieces were encore. I admired all: beautiful nature, wonderful acting, seductive music. And it was clear that the performance had a great success.
A number of goals and objectives are employed in advertising and can be both short or long term in nature. Short-term goals and objectives pertain to the ad copy itself. Ads are designed to introduce certain concepts and must also be convincing. Long-term advertising goals pertain to desired effects. The key to successful advertising is knowing how much to allocate toward specific types of advertising. You also need to properly identify your target audience so you are reaching the right consumers.Getting AttentionOne short-term goal and objective in advertising is getting people's attention. Use highly readable print in your ads. Color, diagrams and pictures can also attract the attention of users. For example, gold is often used to represent a premium or expensive brand of liquor. One of the best ways to attract attention in print advertising is to use a strong headline. Make a statement that attracts the right type of reader, and include at least one benefit in the heading to pull the reader into the ad. Use sounds and jingles to attract attention in your radio and television ads.Prompting Immediate ActionYour print and other types of advertising must also prompt people to act immediately. Include a coupon in your ad to get people to try your product at the store. Include a deadline on your coupon so people know the offer is only good for a short time period. Offer a free trial of your product, or provide something free along with the product.Related Reading: Examples of Advertising Objectives & StrategiesReplacing Lost CustomersSmall companies use advertising to replace lost customers.
